Product information “Prunkhorn eagle”
When the ancient Germanic tribes lay on their bearskins, they drank their mead from the horns of the aurochs.
Horns are therefore one of the oldest drinking vessels.
Over time, the horn gave way and was replaced by ceramic drinking vessels.
At KING-Werk, we offer various drinking horns. Even if the designs are different, they all have one thing in common, apart from a long history: they are all handmade in Germany and are delivered in the valued KING quality.
Pour a cold beer into a drinking horn from KING-Werk. And if you don’t feel thirsty, you can enjoy the sight of the timeless shape, the great decorations and the elaborately ornamented lids made of real pewter.
This magnificent horn with a total height of 33 cm has many “extras” to offer:
The sea eagle’s head catches the eye thanks to the elegant black glaze. A base, which was designed as a sea eagle and “holds” the horn with its wings, provides stability.
An old German eagle crest with flag motifs on the sides was discreetly branded onto the front of the jug.
This work is offered as a limited edition of 10,000 pieces worldwide with consecutive numbering.
Contents: 3/4 liter
