Product information “Limität 2022 Noblemen painted in an inn”
This jug is a reproduction of a hump that was probably modeled by Wilhelm Kamp in the Westerwald in 1897.
The relief motif shows two noblemen in good company in a castle tavern.
The saying “The mug waves, toasts and drinks” says it all about this scene. The conical shape of the mug fits perfectly with the castle tower motif, which rounds off the whole thing with the facon lid made of real pewter.
On the back, under the handle, there is a glimpse into the barrel cellar.
In this “color edition”, the main motif was painted with additional onglaze colors and the jug was then fired again.
Consecutively numbered and strictly limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide, this is the twenty-second edition of the King Annual Limits series.
