This jug is completely dedicated to Ireland.

A leprechaun toasts you with a full jug from the middle of the jug.

Next to the “Ireland” lettering, the Irish coat of arms is depicted in full relief, which also shows the famous Blarney Stone.

The three diagrams show Irish symbols such as shamrocks, the Irish flag, a horseshoe, Celtic knots and a harp.

The background is “filled” with cobalt blue glaze, which provides a beautiful contrast to the hand-painted motifs.

This version is the so-called “Cobalt” version: A cobalt-blue background in underglaze was applied. The relief appears more colorful and shiny compared to the Rustica version.
