Hunting tankard 1.5 liter

This beer mug made of fine ceramic comes from the renowned company Girmscheid, based in Höhr-Grenzhausen. The stamp “Made in Germany – Western” on the base of the mug indicates a date of manufacture around 1970.

The elaborate relief motif is particularly noteworthy, decorated in a brown patina that further emphasizes the depth of the relief. The front of the jug depicts a hunter in traditional Bavarian costume. He casually carries a shotgun over his shoulder and holds a pipe in his right hand. A chamois is depicted to his left and a magnificent stag to his right .
