Product information “Germany medieval jug 0.3 liter, blue design”

For many years, beer steins have not only been drinking vessels.
Often, steins were also produced in limited quantities for special occasions.

This jug with medieval motifs was decorated using the traditional wiping technique and conveys a unique and antique appearance, not least due to its simple color scheme.

The front of the jug depicts a scene from a jousting tournament in Rothenburg in high relief.

The coats of arms below show an eagle on the left (former Prussia) and a lion on the right (similar to today’s lion in the Bavarian coat of arms).

The waving banners are inscribed with “Deutschland” or “Germany” and the sides of the jugs are decorated with motifs of well-known German cities and regions:
Reichstag,

Brandenburg Gate,

the Römer in Frankfurt,

Royal Castle Neuschwanstein,

Munich City Hall with its famous carillon and

Heidelberg Castle.

The lid was made of pure pewter.

Limited edition of 10,000 pieces.

Height: approx. 22 cm,

Contents:1/3 liter
