The motif of this clock takes up the centuries-old tradition of clock carriers. At that time, Black Forest clocks were still sold by individual traders who traveled through the countryside with a large rack full of clocks on their backs to sell the clocks they had carved and assembled over the winter. Furthermore, this clock is very elaborately decorated, with a large animal figure, a billy goat, many trees and a particularly large and beautifully designed fountain. All figures and decorative elements are made of wood.

An extraordinary detail of this clock are the beautifully crafted dancing couples in traditional Black Forest costume, so detailed that you can even recognize their faces.
