This half-timbered house with its unusual shape for Cuckoo Clocks shows a small Black Forest scene. A wood chopper is working in front of the house, with a shepherd dog standing next to it. Already sawn and stacked wood completes the scene.The chalet itself is elaborately constructed as a half-timbered house, with the very steep and pointed roof that is common in the Black Forest. In combination with the wide roof overhang, such roofs offer ideal protection from the large amounts of snow in winter.
As the clock strikes, the woodcutter raises his left arm and begins to strike the log with his axe.
All the figures and decorative elements are made of wood and hand-painted.
