This chalet clock depicts a beautiful Black Forest house in the middle of the forest. The base of the clock is a chalet, but this clock also places great emphasis on high-quality carving. The entire front of the clock is framed by spruce trees, typical of a high low mountain range such as the Black Forest.The forest look continues on the front of the clock. A bear stands between more spruce trees, next to it, crouched and hidden, is a hare.
The roof is carved in a thatched look, giving the impression of a real Black Forest house roof that is irregularly thatched.
