The Bavarian coat of arms in full relief is the main motif of this Bavarian tankard.
The side motifs show the royal castle of Neuschwanstein and a view of Oberammergau.
The beautiful relief ornaments are beautifully accentuated by the cobalt blue background.
This version is the so-called “rustic” version: no cobalt-blue background in underglaze was applied. The relief appears deeper and the colors are matt.
There is no “better” of the two variants – personal taste is the deciding factor here.
