Product information “Annual limit 2024 “In May” hand-painted”
This year’s edition is the 25th in the King-Werk Limitäten series.
The original was modeled by Wilhelm Kamp around 1899. Subsequent production took place in Höhr-Grenzhausen in the factory of Albert Jacob Thewalt.
The hand-painted, multi-colored motif shows a couple in festive attire in a park. The title of the motif is “In May” – which alludes not only to spring, but also to the lovers’ stage of life.
The ornaments on the sides in finely crafted relief further enhance the jug. The rhyme on the jug reads:
“Adorn your life at all times
Health, happiness, contentment”
This 2-liter tankard is topped with a facon lid made of real pewter.
Each jug is individually numbered by hand.
