The design of this model features the most massive, compact carved parts. This massiveness is reflected in the weight of the clock (12kg).
This clock shows a mixture of forest and mountain decoration.
On the right-hand side of the clock is a mountaineer resting. Surrounding him are trees and animals from the Alpine mountains.
All figures and decorative elements are made of wood and hand-painted.
The roof is carved to look like shingles, giving the impression of a real Black Forest house roof that has been shingled unevenly by hand.
