Very beautiful carved clock with a classic hunting motif.
The stag’s head, complete with antlers carved from wood, is enthroned centrally on the top.
The rest of the clock features many elements of the hunt in the spirit of a hunting piece. The prey, hare and pheasant, hangs to the side of the dial. The bell of a hunting horn (the horn itself frames the clock face) is located centrally below the clock face, with the powder pouch underneath. The top is decorated with two rifles.
